The Tema West branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) held an enthusiastic walk and campaign launch in preparation for the 2024 elections, drawing an impressive crowd from across the constituency.
The event, which showcased the NDC’s determination and readiness to engage voters, began with a solidarity walk that kicked off from Sakumono Village, the designated gathering spot.
Participants proceeded through notable locations such as Vivian Farm and Community 18 Junction, with supporters chanting, waving party flags, and drawing the attention of passersby.
The march concluded at Cement Park in Sakumono, where the official launch event was held.
A diverse assembly of attendees was present, including national, regional, and former constituency executives, parliamentary hopefuls, and other distinguished figures from the NDC ranks.
The Tema West Communication Officer, Dela Afetor, welcomed the crowd, setting a passionate tone for the event and reaffirming the NDC’s commitment to mobilizing support for the upcoming elections.
The gathering then heard from prominent speakers who energized the audience with calls to action.
Tema West NDC Party Chairman, Mohammed Issah, delivered a stirring speech that emphasized the importance of sustained dedication and relentless effort.
He cautioned party members against complacency, urging them to work diligently to secure victory.
His message resonated deeply, serving as a rallying cry for everyone present to remain focused and proactive in the months leading up to the election.
Adding to the momentum was Gambo, the Deputy Regional Organizer for the Greater Accra Region, who took the stage with a message aimed at the grassroots supporters.
He passionately encouraged Ghanaians to come out in strong numbers on election day and to stay vigilant in protecting their ballots, underlining the critical role that active participation plays in the democratic process.
Gambo also endorsed Lawyer Enu, highlighting his commitment to the community and expressing confidence in his potential to be a dedicated Member of Parliament for Tema West.
He even suggested that Lawyer Enu could serve as a minister if elected, a statement that drew cheers from the audience.
