OTTO ADDO ANNOUNCE 25 MAN BLACK STARS SQUAD FOR ANGOLA AND NIGER CLASH

Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has announced his 25 man squad for the remaining matches of the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The squad is dominated by players who ply their trade in Europe. Ibrahim Sulemana of Cagliari, Bordeaux duo of Elisha Owusu and Gideon Mensah kept their place form part of a pool of players who kept their place in Otto Addo’s last call up for match ups against Sudan and Niger.

Thomas Partey remains the biggest absentee. The Arsenal defensive midfielder missed out on Otto Addo’s last call up because of injury. Inaki Williams, Jordan Ayew and Mohammed Kudus form part of the 25 man contingent.

Three local players earned call ups, Samartex Isaac Afful, Asante Kotoko’s Emmamuel Antwi and Nations FC’s defensive stalwart Razak Simpson.

The Black Stars are up against Angola on 15th and Niger on the 18th of November in the 2025 AFCON qualifier.
