Former Black Stars player, Charles Taylor has shut down the possibility of Ghana qualifiying for the 2025 African Cup of Nations (Afcon)
The Black Stars need to win their remaining two matches to boost a slim chance of qualifying for the 2025 Afcon. Coach Otto Addo believes Ghana are still in the race mathematically. Ghana’s destiny is in the hands of Sudan who are been coached by former Black Stars head coach James Akwasi Appiah.
Despite Otto Addo’s optimism many Ghanaians have given already. Former Black Stars player, Charles Taylor in an interview on Ahotor “Agokansie” erased any possibility of Ghana making it to the Afcon.
“We should even pray Niger don’t score us. Sudan won’t lose unless their players are infected by dog’s sickness. Sudan won’t settle for less. Otto Addo himself knows that Ghana cannot qualify”
The Black Stars have only two points from four matches. They will have to beat Angola and Sudan and hope Sudan drop points in their next two matches. The last time Ghana missed out on the Afcon was in 2004.
