Hon. Felicia Edem Attipoe, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Tema West Municipality, has dismissed claims suggesting that the government has not delivered any meaningful development projects in the area.
She addressed these allegations during an interview with Ahotor FM, affirming that the municipality has experienced substantial progress under the administration of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Having served as MCE for only five months, Attipoe highlighted significant projects already underway, such as road construction, new schools, and community-based health planning and services (CHPS) compounds.
She commended her predecessors for their contributions and emphasized that she has continued this trajectory, bringing more development to Tema West.
Addressing her primary challenge, Attipoe mentioned that sanitation remains a pressing issue in the municipality, and she is actively working toward solutions to improve conditions.
She urged residents to put politics aside when it comes to development and expressed confidence that, through collective effort, Tema West can become a better place for all its inhabitants.
