The ex-chairman of the NDC, Hon Dr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo says, he has built his integrity and good name over the decades and would not compromise that for anything, irrespective of the cost to his political career.
Adding that, he won’t leave a stone unturned in an effort to protect his image.
He was speaking during an interaction with the staff and management of Ahotor 92.3 fm, who paid a call on him at his residence in Accra.
He said, relationship is a virtue found in great people and such, people should protect it with their lives to the last point.
Noting that, he will therefore not respond to vilification and false accusations peddled against him during the campaign.
Adding that, posterity and time would be the best judge.
He said, he is careful not to break relationships because of power.
Revealing that, the fight for power will pass, and since the world turns, it might come back to hit you the perpetrators of falsehood.
To him God knows best and he strongly believes so.
He hopes the newly elected executives would add on to his gains over the 4-year mandate he served, increase the NDC’s share in parliament and boost the shares of the great NDC Party to win the 2024 elections.
He therefore encouraged his followers to encourage themselves and work hard to ensure the victory of the Party in 2024.
