The Ghana Football Association has informed the public of a one-week break in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League, Access Bank Division One League, and Women’s League scheduled for the lead-up to the December 7, 2024, National Elections.
This decision is to make way for players and officials to exercise their franchise and other civic duties.
The season commenced on September 6, 2024, and concluded on June 8, 2025, with no official midweek matchdays planned to reduce travel burdens on clubs.
The leagues will resume on December 13, 2024, after this brief pause, which applies to all competitions under the Ghana Football Association.
