The Ghana Society of the Physically Challenged is calling on the government to boost the disability fund to better support their community. During a gathering at the Wilson Foundation’s free health screening, Reverend Kojo Duah Agyekum, Vice Chairman of the association in Birem Central, emphasized the urgent need for increased funding.
He highlighted the plight of many members who resort to begging on the streets due to insufficient support from the current fund, which fails to adequately address their needs.
