The Northern Electricity Distribution Company (NEDCO), will today Monday February 26, 2024 begin its third phase of revenue mobilization exercise.
The operation targets customers with arrears, including government, state-owned enterprises, Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies (MMDAs), and private organizations.
NEDCO in a statement urged all customers with arrears to immediately make payments to avoid disconnections and embarrassment.
The company also urged customers with billing issues to visit its customer service centre with adequate evidence to seek redress.
Speaking to Ahotor news, the Senior Community and Public Relations Officer of the Northern Electricity Distribution Company (NEDCO), Alhassan Abaaba explained that, the exercise is to collect over ghc1billion debt owed the company.

He also noted that, NEDCO is embarking the exercise with the help of the Ghana Police Service to ensure the safety of the revenue collection task-force.
