John Dramani Mahama Signs the Book of Condolence at the Namibian Embassy.

Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) John Dramani Mahama joined hands with the people of Namibia to mourn their former President, Hage Geingob.

The former president and flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC)John Dramani Mahama Signed the book of condolence at the Namibian Embassy, eulogizing the relationship between Ghana and Namibia.

My sincerest condolences go to the people of Namibia and the wife and family of President Hage Geingob. “ he stated.

In a Facebook post, Mahama showed how cherished he is for the relationship being developed over the years with the people of Namibia. “President Geingob was a patriot and a freedom fighter,” he said.

In the post, he stated how he remembers with fond memories, the conversations he had about the struggle for freedom from apartheid and the respect held for Ghana’s role in the liberation of Africa. It was a delight to share those moments with the late president of Namibian and his wife during their summit in Malta.

According to him, Hage Geingob has played his role and deserves a rest.
“I will continue to work hard to build on the good relations between Ghana and Namibia”. he stated.
