Your last-minute reshuffle won’t end the Suffering of Ghanaians – Akamba tells Akufo-Addo

A former National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Joshua Hamidu Akamba has indicated that President Akufo-Addo’s last-minute reshuffle of some ministerial appointees is utterly unnecessary for tackling the economic woes of the country.

Mr. Akamba reiterated that the decision of President Akufo-Addo will not end the suffering of Ghanaians, adding that it will never have any good impact on the already ailing Ghanaian economy.

Mr Akamba questioned why the governing NPP would reshuffle in an election year despite lambasting John Mahama under the erstwhile NDC administration for following the same modus operandi.

He said before the 2016 elections John Mahama did reshuffling and Dr Bawumia and NPP members called the move of Mahama’s reshuffling as ‘an election reshuffle.

Emphasizing the importance of contributions of the reshuffle, the former organizer said, the reshuffle will never add any color to the suffering of Ghanaians and will not solve the economic situation the citizenry is experiencing.

He stressed that the motive behind the reshuffling is an attempt to gain merit for Bawumia in the 2024 presidential election.

He urged Ghanaians to rally behind John Mahama and the NDC to kick the inept NPP government Out of power.
