Member of Parliament for the Tema East Constituency Isaac Ashai Odamtten has welcomed the 24-Hour Economy proposal by the NDC Presidential Candidate John Dramani Mahama.
Hon. Odamtten believes the policy if implemented, will benefit all regions but Tema will benefit more.
“The 24-Hour Economy will benefit Tema the more even though it will cut across all the regions. In the Ghana Police Service, Tema is a region on its own so that means Tema won’t have security issues during the 24-Hour Economy” he told Citizen Kofi Owusu on Ade Kye Mu Nsem.
Former President John Mahama has pledged to establish a 24-hour economy when elected as President in the 2024 presidential election.
According to him, the policy would contribute to economic growth and job creation, especially for the majority of the Ghanaian youth.
Commenting on this, Tema East MP Isaac Ashai Odamtten said the 24-Hour Economy Policy is a game changer.
