Former Ambassador to India and President of the NDC Professional Forum, Sam Pee Yalley said Ghana is not in any economic distress.
Speaking with Citizen Kofi Owusu on Ahotor 92.3FM‘s morning show ‘Ade Kye Mu Nsem‘ he categorically expatiated the “AGYAPA ROYALTIES DEAL”.
“Page 5 of the “AGYAPA DEAL”, BANKING states that “As part of their first face, they plan on dissolving all banks that are not aligned with the party(NPP), thus Bawumia created negative speculation in 2012 in order to take over the controlling height of Ghana’s economy.
In 2016 -2017, BOG made close to 700 million cedis and now they lose over 60 billion. What did they use the money for”? he questioned.
He admitted that Former President Mahama made 54 Billion losses, yet he was able to put the money into good use by paying civil servants, completing his projects, establishing BOG hospital, and many more.
“The second paragraph highlights how they are going to preposterously and intentionally collapse local banks to their advantage. They used close to 25 -30 Billion Cedis in collapsing these banks and willingly gave 800 Million Cedis to AGT to meet the minimum qualification set by BOG” Ambassador Sam Pee Yalley said.
He added that “If there’s any problem in this country, then it’s Ken Ofori Atta, Bawumia, Nana Addo, and the NPP that has operated as a criminal syndicate and not COVID killing us, that is why we’re here today”. He stated emphatically.
He said every sector of this economy has been taken over and destroyed by the NPP, and that is why all public institutions are owed.
He pleaded that the Minister for Energy and ECG fix all our street lights because we’ve paid for them and “We’re demanding our right to make this nation safer for everyone. Ghanaians demand accountability!”
