Victor Aidoo part ways with Accra Hearts of Oak after contract expiration.

Hearts of Oak striker Victor Aidoo has parted ways with Premier League giant Accra Hearts of Oak SC after the expiration of his contract with the club.

In an interview with another platform, Victor emphasized that he has nothing to do with the Hearts of Oak SC again and has left to seek new challenges somewhere to continue his development.

“My contract has expired so I have nothing to do with the club again, I was in my final year before the start of the season, so the club engaged me to extend my contract before I leave on loan but I declined and requested for a mutual termination of my contract but it didn’t happen. As a result, I was asked to stay home until my contract expires, I agreed and did not take part in the first half of the campaign, But when Matic arrived, I was asked to join for training and I was impressed, so I was registered for the second round to finish the six months left on my contract.”

Throughout his three-year tenure with Hearts of Oak, Aidoo made 53 appearances, scoring 11 goals and providing one assist.

Victor Aidoo played a crucial role in helping Hearts of Oak end their 12-year trophy drought by winning the MTN FA Cup and the league title in the 2021/22 season, as well as the President’s Cup this year.
