Tactically our game plan worked perfectly for us – Kotoko coach
The interim Coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Abdulai Gazale has attributed their victory over Accra Lions to compliance with tactical advice and approach to the game.
In an interview, coach Gazale expressed that the tactics deployed for the game worked perfectly well after understudying the opponent for some time
“Our tactics worked for us, we decided to come into this game because we know Accra Lions are very good in possessing the ball and always want to start from the back so we came out in here with a mindset that we are always going in for high pressing and I think the high pressing helped us and gave us a goal.”
” It also made them frustrated because any time they get the ball we have men on them, so tactically our game plan worked for us that is the reason why we were able to get that particular three maximum points. ”
Kumasi Asante Kotoko has won two and drew three in their last five games and lies 4th position with 51 points after playing 33 games.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko will welcome Dreams FC in Kumasi ahead of their last game of the season.
