Youths of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Ofoase-Ayirebi constituency in the Eastern region has thrown their support for Joshua Asuming Badu to lead the party to victory as they contributed to pick nominations form for him.
According to them, their choice of candidate has been a two terms chairman for the constituency and popularly known for his hardworking, humanity and unity for the betterment of the great umbrella party in the constituency so they are sure he can snatch the Ofoase-Ayirebi seat from NPP.
Speaking to the media, convener for Friends of Joshua Asuming Badu (F-JAB), Mathew Kwadwo Adagba said, Asuming Badu is someone we can manage the constituency and will never abandoned them after winning power.
“we have gathered GHC 50, 000 to picked this forms and we promise to support him through filling and are ready to rally for him till he wins” he said.
So far, checks indicates that only two candidates in the Ofoase-Ayirebi constituency are contesting for the NDC upcoming primaries. Any update will be published.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has officially closed nominations for its presidential primaries on Friday, February 24.
Chairman of the Elections Committee, Kakra Essamuah at a media engagement has said.
Both presidential and parliamentary nominations were opened for interested aspirants to pick forms on 21st February, 2023.
