Ghana Women’s Premier League champions, Hasaacas Ladies have been drawn in Group A alongside Malabo King’s FC, Wadi Degla FC, and AS Mande in the inaugural edition of the Total Energies CAF Women’s Champions League.
The competition, which will be staged in Cairo – Egypt from the 5th to 19th of November 2021 saw the WAFU Zone B Champions paired in a group alongside Malabo King’s FC, winner of the UNIFFAC Qualifiers and champions of Equatorial Guinea League.
Group B will pit Vihiga Queens – winner of the qualifiers of the CECAFA zone and the Women’s Football League Champions in Kenya, Mamelodi Sundowns – winner of COSAFA qualifiers and three-time champions of South Africa, ASFAR (Morocco) – winner of the UNAF qualifiers as well as Rivers Angels (Nigeria), runners-up of the WAFU B qualifiers and Nigeria Champions.
Hasaacas Ladies won the Women’s Premier League alongside the FA Cup double in Ghana and will hope to replicate their form in the competition come November.
