The National Chairman of the opposition NDC has vowed,the NDC will resist any attempt by the Electoral Commission and its boss Madam Jean Mensah to re-roll itself by imposing its will on stakeholders of Ghana’s Electoral process like it happened in the past.
According to Chairman Ampofo, the NDC is a major stakeholder and cannot be treated lightly, he said the conduct and posture of the Electoral Commissioners in the previous IPAC meetings left much to be desired and expects the EC to reform itself before any engagement.
“the EC has turned the IPAC into headmaster-students relationship, she doesn’t listen to any one ,.now we are asking that IPAC must be back by a legislation, she must be ready to engage IPAC for the purposes for which it was established”
He continued: ” I am assuring all our teaming supporters that, this time we are not going to allow the EC to re-roll itself like it happened in the past, its never going to happen”
