Ahotor FM: Former Director of the Ghana Integrity Initiative, Mr. Vitus Adaboo Azeem has blasted the electoral commission of Ghana over its decision to compile a new voters register despite widespread resistance and justification given by various CSO’s.
According to him, there’s no sense in the argument the commission has been advancing so far. He said the various reasons cited by the EC as basis for compiling a new voters register lack substance and called on the commission to abandon its decision and save Ghana from any possible electoral misunderstanding going into 2020 elections.
He was speaking to Kakeeku on Ahotor fm’s new afternoon political show dubbed Simpieso. He indicated that the existing voters register is credible and there’s no reason to jettison it for new one at a huge cost.
