In a commitment to strengthen Ghana’s creative arts sector, NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama has pledged to host an annual dialogue focused on advancing the industry.
If elected president, John Mahama vows to personally chair these discussions, bringing together leaders, stakeholders, and government ministers to strategize on key issues facing the sector.
Speaking to a packed audience at the Great Hall of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST),Mr. Mahama emphasized the importance of consistent, open dialogue to drive meaningful change.
He assured attendees that the Ministers of Tourism, Sports, and other key stakeholders would join him each year to assess progress, address challenges, and refine policies that empower artists, musicians, filmmakers, and other creatives.
John Mahama believes that this initiative will foster stronger collaboration between government and industry, creating a more supportive environment for the arts, culture, and tourism.
