Some of my players were selfish – Coach Kassim Mingle

The head coach of Nations FC , Coach Kasim Mingle has attributed his side lose to Medeama to selfishness of some of his players in the outstanding game in the Ghana Premier League.

In the post match interview, Coach Kassim Mingle expressed that his side did not deserve to lose the game considering their performance in the clash but selfishness contributed to their defeat.

“It’s a game that we didn’t deserve to lose. In the first half, we dominated and created all the chances and we wasted all the chances and in the second half it continued like that but against the round of play we conceded. We did whatever we could to secure points but it didn’t happen. I will congratulate Medeama.”

“My players failed to take the chances we created, some of them were selfish. Some balls were too easy to score than to miss, pass the ball to your player to score , they Ballon it somewhere. Selfishness caused us our defeat.” – he added

Medeama SC secured a narrow win over Nations FC at the Akoon Community, courtesy Kamaradin Mamudu’s decisive goal in the 62nd minute mark.

The champions have jumped to 11th on the table with 7 points from five games with one outstanding game left .

Nations FC now lies 17th position with five points from six matches.
