(AUDIO): The NDC will win the Dome Kwabenya seat if they present a Woman as PC – Man of God reveals

Founder and Leader of the Sword Glory Ministry International in the Ashanti Region Prophet Samuel Forson has urged the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to present a woman to contest the Dome Kwabenya seat as God has revealed to him that only woman can win that seat for the NDC in the 2024 elections.

Speaking on Ahotor 92.3 FM‘s afternoon political show ‘Simpieso‘ with host Emmanuel Martey a.k.a Alaska De Don, Prophet Forson said “The NDC should not change the woman contesting the Dome Kwabenya seat because God has revealed to me that a woman can win that seat for the NDC, the NPP will be presenting a man and even if they bring Adwoa Safo, she will lose so I want to tell the NDC to present a woman and they will win the seat in 2024”.

Formed prior to the 2004 elections after being carved out of the then-Abokobi-Madina constituency, the Dome-Kwabenya constituency has been an NPP stronghold in the Greater Accra Region.

On the parliamentary side, the NDC is yet to cross the 40 percent mark in the constituency, with its best performance coming in 2008 when Zita Okaikoi captured 39.5 percent of the vote.

Prophet Forson is of the view that the seat could fall for the NDC for the first time with woman as a Parliamentary Candidate.

He appealed to the party leadership in the constituency to up their support for any woman who will be elected as Parliamentary Candidate and project her candidature for a resounding victory both in the primary and the 2024 elections.

Data from the Electoral Commission show that the Dome Kwabenya constituency has the highest number of voters in the country.

The constituency has over 170,000 voters.

Touching on the voting of the new six ministers in Parliament, Prophet Forson said the NDC MPs who voted in favour of the ministers shouldn’t be blamed but rather the leadership of the NDC should be blamed.
