Accra hearts of oak were exempted from the prelims of the caf confederation cup and will only start playing from the second round.
Hearts of Oak will face the winner of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round clash between AS Douanes of Burkina Faso and Real Bamako of Mali.
The first leg will take place between October 7-9, 2022 and the second leg between October 14-16,2022.
Hearts of Oak’s performance in the Caf champions league and confederation cup last season was nothing good to write about and will be hoping to do better in the confederation cup this season.
Hearts of Oak will face a tough and tricky opponent being it to be Real Bamako or AS Douanes since they have been active in the Caf competition.
