MP for yilo krobo Hon. Albert Tetteh Nyarkotey has spoken about the damming situations in the Yilo and Manya Krobo enclave.
He narrated how the situation started between ECG and the people as to meter installation and bill payment.
According to him, their light has been off for 15days now with no positive response after many attempt and meetings.
Speaking on Adekye Mu Nsem on Ahotor 92.3fm, Hon Nyarkotey spoke on the fact that the issue at hand is badly affecting the land economically ,educationally , and health wise so much so that hospitals want to close down; schools, businesses and more are all at the verge of collapse.
He expresses his surprise of Nana Addo not coming to their aid in anyway.
He said ECG should not use the few to treat all badly because about 80% of the people have accepted the prepaid and are already using it.
He also brushes off rumors that the people on krobo land are fighting ECG because they are claiming ownership of Akosombo Dam.
