My constituents pleaded with me to allow NPP take over- Hon Sorogho

The former Member of Parliament for Abokobi Madina Constituency, Amadu Bukari Sorogho on Ahotor FM’s Simpieso with Alaska the Don lamented that his constituents pleaded with him to allow the New Patriotic Party’s Abu-Bakar Sadiqque Boniface to take over.

According to Alhaji Sorogho, his constituents got carried away by the lies of NPP’s candidate, Mr. Boniface that they asked him to step down because they believed he had done a lot for them and that, Mr. Boniface should also come and fulfill the promises he made to them.

Sorogho further stated that Mr. Boniface could not fulfill his numerous promises to the people of Madina that made him ask him to step down for Hon. Xavier Sosu.

He said Mr. Boniface begged him to allow him go do another term with the promise that he would not contest in the 2020 election but he refused.

” I didn’t listen to him; I told him I want my party to win” he added.

Alhaji Sorogho talking of his achievements in the Abokobi Madina Constituency as an MP says, he together with the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Franklin Anku built the Madina Municipal Assembly but never moved into that office before they lost the election.

Boniface and his people were the first to work in that office even though he built it but he believes that is how democracy and governance work.
