Ghanaian veteran gospel singer, Obaapa Christy has disclosed that she didn’t bother to check her BECE Result although she wrote the exams because she knew she had failed.
According to herm, although she has no plans to further her education at the Secondary school level so she already knew she would not get a good result at the end of the day so no wasting of time to go and check.
She added that education is not the way to becoming successful in life because even though she did not attain higher education she is more successful than many degree holders in Ghana and other people who claim to have attained higher education.
“I didn’t even go for it to see whether I passed or not because I foresaw that I wouldn’t pass,” she stated.
Obaapa only believes that the way to get rich these days is when God’s grace is upon you as a person, demanding hard work or formal education do nothing.
Using herself as an example she said that when God’s grace was able to locate her, everything about her life changed, making her so successful that she now helps her family among other Ghanaians who depend on her for survival.
“My success is grounded on the grace of God that positioned me, and so I don’t joke with such grace,” she said in her recent interview.
