The Executive Secretary for the Law Society of Ghana, Sam Atukwei Quaye is calling on chiefs to speak up in expressing their dissatisfaction about corruption, mismanagement, and other issues which are retarding the country’s growth.
He quickly added that, per law, all lands in the country belong to Nananom so it is in the right direction for them to express their worries about things they don’t agree with in the country.
Mr. Sam Atukwei Quaye made the call at Dodowa and said municipality during the enstoolment of Nene Oklemekuku Atrokpa ii. Mr. Atukwei Quaye bemoaned Traditional leaders to speak to the state issues.
He quickly added that Ghana has an ongoing project (LAP) which started in 2003 to register who owns what land.
He warned if you are not in line to become a chief don’t create confusion and unnecessary Chieftaincy disputes by mobilizing thugs who selfishly aligned themselves with the Government for unwarranted favors.
