WE WILL SLEEP HERE – AGGRIEVED GNBANK CUSTOMERS

Today, the aggrieved customers of dissolved Gold Coast fund management (GN BANK) are picketing at the finance ministry demanding their locked monies after five years of negotiating their lock-up funds.

The Akufo-Addo Government assured them of settling the debt. According to the customers, the Government owes them ghc8.6b, and ghc3.1b paid the remaining ghc5.5b which is what the government has not paid to date.

In earlier negotiations, the Government assured the customers he had released the money through the finance ministry but they have not received anything yet from the ministry which has warranted their picketing today at the Finance Ministry.

The convener of the group Charles Nyame said they are not leaving the finance ministry until they are paid.

Some of the customers also have this to say.
