Former Member of Parliament for Tamale Central, Hon Inusah Fuseini says Dr Owusu Afriyie Akoto, the former Agriculture minister was planted in the NPP Presidential race to distract supporters to vote for other candidates.
According to him, both candidates are coming from the Ashanti region so the vote from there will be divided, and they knew well will eat into Alan’s votes.
To him, it was an intentional plan and they should have advised him to withdraw.
