Coach Yusif Basigi invites 39 players to start camping at Ghanaman.
Black Princesses coach, Yusif Basigi, has invited 39 players ahead of the team’s 2024 U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Guinea-Bissau.
The players are expected to report on Wednesday, September 13 at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram and begin preparations to lock horns with their opponents next month.
The team will take on Guinea Bissau on October 8 in Ghana for the second round of qualifiers and later travel for the second leg on October 15 with a place up for grabs in the third round of qualifiers.
The four winners of the third round, which is set to take place between November 12 and 19, will compete in the final round for a spot in the tournament, which will be hosted by Columbia from September 5 and 22, 2024, with only two spots up for grabs for Africa.
The team lost all three of their group games during their previous World Cup campaign in 2022, which led to their early elimination. As a result, they are seeking to make a great comeback to the world championship.
