Positive Transparency and Accountability Movement-Ghana (PTAAM-GH) Takes Stand Against Corruption

In an impactful inaugural ceremony held at the UPSA auditorium in Accra, the Positive Transparency and Accountability Movement-Ghana (PTAAM-GH) was launched, signaling a determined effort to combat corruption within the country. Mr. Bright Nyawudzi Bensil, the Executive Secretary of PTAAM, delivered a resolute address to the media, emphasizing the organization’s commitment to the nation’s welfare and its non-affiliation with any political party.

Mr. Bensil underscored PTAAM’s unwavering dedication to working impartially, regardless of the political landscape, in their mission to combat corruption. He elucidated on the various avenues through which the civil society organization plans to tackle this pervasive issue, highlighting its collaborative approach with institutions such as the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP), Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), and other stakeholders.

Corruption, Mr. Bensil emphasized, is a scourge that adversely affects every facet of society, necessitating urgent and concerted action. He called upon all Ghanaians to support PTAAM in their endeavor, recognizing that the fight against corruption is a collective challenge that demands widespread participation.
