Please serve the Nation don’t serve the interest of the President – Malik Adama tells IGP

Malik Adama, a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s Communications Team at the Okaikoi North Constituency of the Greater Accra Region, has issued a compelling plea to the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, urging him to prioritize the welfare of the nation over political interests.

In a discussion on Ahotor 92.3 FM‘s ‘Simpieso‘ show with host Emmanuel Martey, Adama emphasized the critical importance of maintaining peace before, during, and after the 2024 general elections. He stressed that a peaceful environment benefits all citizens, including the IGP himself.

Furthermore, Malik Adama called upon the IGP to carry out his duties diligently, with a focus on safeguarding the nation’s security as a whole, rather than solely serving the interests of the president or any particular political entity.
