None of the big teams in ghana will use these set of players to qualify – Abdul Karim Zito
Head coach of Dreams FC Abdul Karim Zito has emphasized that it is implausible for both Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak to progress to the subsequent round of the CAF Confederations Cup with his team members.
After securing advancement to the next round, the seasoned coach commended his players and simultaneously criticized the two most prominent clubs in the country. He asserted that the current group of players under his guidance would not have been able to secure qualification for the next round.
“These my boys ,Asante Kotoko will never use them for Africa, and Hearts of Oak will never use them for Africa. But we’ve advanced to the next stage against all odds,”
Dreams FC squad achieved qualification to the next stage of the competition by defeating Guinean outfit Milo FC .
Following a 1-1 draw in the first leg, Dreams FC secured a 2-1 victory at the Accra Sports Stadium during the return leg of the preliminary round
In the second round of the preliminary games, Dreams FC is set to face Sierra Leonean team Khallon FC.
The Ghanaian side will welcome Khallon FC to the Accra Sports Stadium on September 15, followed by a journey to the Southern Arena Stadium for the second-leg match on September 29.
