Don’t rubbish licensure exams that have benefited teachers – NPP tells John Mahama

Deputy Communication Director of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Jennifer Queen is calling on the opposition NDC leader John Dramani Mahama to stop rubbishing the teacher licensure examination which has benefited most of the teachers on the field.

She said the field players are happy about its introductions hence there is no complaint coming from them.

The NDC presidential candidate for the 2024 general elections John Mahama through his building Ghana tour in the Bono, Ahafo, and Bono East region rubbished the initiative and said his government will scrap off that policy when they get the nod in the upcoming general elections.

Responding to this, Miss Jennifer Queen said the opposition leader has the right to seek stakeholders’ and teacher unions’ engagement on the initiative introduced by the government for review if possible but not to rubbish it.

According to her, she as a leader in the governing party has helped a lot of Ghanaian teachers who were able to pass the licensure exams and has been posted in various schools.

She called on the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its leader John Mahama to have something better in their papers for next year because that is when the main campaign will start.
