Historian and Political Analyst Emmanuel Boamah believes that Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, the running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), would excel as Vice President compared to current Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
According to Mr. Boamah, Dr. Bawumia has not contributed significantly to governance, and his candidacy for President under the NPP reflects how governance standards have declined.
During an interview on Ahotor 92.3 FM‘s ‘Yepe Ahunu‘ show with Nana Dogbe, Mr. Boamah expressed his best wishes to Prof. Jane Opoku Agyemang, hoping she can provide the necessary support to John Mahama to secure victory in the 2024 elections and restore national pride.
Mr. Boamah criticized the NPP for damaging the country’s economy, contrasting it unfavorably with the state it was in when the NDC was in power. He urged Ghanaians to vote out the NPP in the upcoming general elections for a brighter future for Ghana.
