FEEDBACK

I woke up to several comments on social media. Seriously, I felt bad, especially reading those coming from NDC members. Hon Ahwoi, I appreciate your apology. To err is human and to forgive is divine!!!
Sometimes, in our efforts to respond to the unfortunate comments from the opposition, we miss the target. This can happen to everyone. The NPP has used unsavory words against Prof Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang from day one. Can you believe some erroneously say she is a Northerner, some talk of her age and other stupid things that can not even bring the one dollar rate to 3.8 cedis?
A comment to respond to the NPP, and to assure all and sundry that Prof Jane is healthy, sound, and fit to even go the extra mile after the 4-year tenure of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, has sounded differently in the minds of many. Let’s all be careful when the housefly lands on our sores. Indeed, meanings are in peoples’ minds.
I have read the apology of Hon Kwesi Ahwoi over and over, and I love the way his words were knitted together to let us know his intentions. No explanations, straight apology that should be enough to rest this issue. God bless you, Sir!!!
Comrades, first things first. If we are unable to win this year’s elections, many of us will be dead before 2028. If there is something to be done, it should be a 100% focus on the prize. If for nothing, let’s consider the hardships of the everyday Ghanaian. The best we can do is to remain focused to kick the elephant back to the bush.
Anytime there is an issue, let’s give ourselves the benefit of the doubt. Let’s put ourselves in each other’s shoes. Sometimes, we become too quick to judge and too quick to crucify. This shouldn’t be the way to go.
Let me at this point raise a glass with you, as I also propose a toast of success to JM and Prof Naana in the 2024 elections. May they finish their 4 years tenure with pride and success. May their success bring a cry of continuity from the people of Ghana.
For me not to be misrepresented, I mean a cry for continuity for the NDC in 2028. Go Ghana, go NDC. Better days ahead.
