The President of the National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s Professionals Forum and former Ambassador to India and Sri Lanka, Sam Pee Yalley, has criticized lawyer Maurice Ampaw for insulting the NDC’s running mate, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang.
Maurice Ampaw labeled Prof. Naana Opoku Agyemang as a 70-year-old retiree who is in menopause and therefore unable to leave the house to care for her grandchildren.
Speaking on Ahotor 92.3 FM‘s Simpieso, Mr. Yalley expressed his disappointment in Maurice Ampaw, especially considering that they are both lawyers. He remarked, “With all your law degrees, whatever comes out of your mouth is a big no-no. I am even saddened that he is a fellow lawyer but doesn’t speak like one,” he shared with Emmanuel Martey.

In response to similar remarks made by Majority Leader Alexander Afenyo Markin, Mr. Yalley expressed dismay at the behavior, particularly from someone hailing from the Central Region.
