Greater Accra Regional Zongo Caucus Coordinator of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Hon Ismaila Horoya Ali says the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) sees Ghanaians as fools when it comes to their understanding of the 24-hour policy introduced by the NDC and John Mahama.
He says most of these appointees including the NPP flagbearer Dr Mahamudu Bawumia are based in Europe and other continents and know how the policy works but they are behaving otherwise because it’s not coming from them.
According to him, he will plead with Dr Bawumia not to speak like a serial caller because of his caliber. There are setting conversations that must be heard from serial callers and not the president and his vice, he added.
The vice president and the flagbearer of the NPP Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has indicated earlier that, the 24-hour economy policy by the opposition cannot be possible and described it as senseless.
But speaking to Onokwafo Yaw Asiedu of @Ahotoronline.com, Hon Horoya Ali said people would have tendered their resignation letters if we had been any serious country for speaking against such a policy.
He said the policy will boost the economy and create employment for many people, especially for the youth.
