The unreserved comments coming from Prof. Stephen Adei Former Rector of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration and Prof. Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng just that they are speaking to the truth and facts confirming that the government and his team are full of injustice and corruption.
It’s very unfortunate and worrying how board members like Prof. Stephen Adei and cabinet minister Prof. Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng’s outbursts on alleged corruption and impunity in the leadership of the New Patriotic Party government; under President Nana Akufo-Addo will go into history as one of the most corrupt government in the fourth republic is nothing but the truth.
The Director of Operations of ADAM GH Ibrahim Mumuni (BABS) stated this on the Simpieso political show program on Ahotor 92.3 FM in Accra hosted by Emmanuel Martey (Alaska De Don).
He is of the view that the corruption tag on the president and his ministers sinks with the public perception that, the government corruption index from international agencies is likely to be factual. He said the president’s hopes and aspiration to develop the country have been associated with alleged corruption and impunity at all levels of governance.
He opined that the cases of judgment debt looming all over are becoming many since the Attorney General is playing into the gallery to make a lot of money described in the past as creating loot and sharing.
He reiterated that the government and party policy to employ party people in all the state institutions has bred a culture of incompetence in government offices, and agencies which he believes has perpetuated cronyism, corruption, and impunity at all government institutions throughout the country, this he believes affects development, good governance and accountability.
The Director of Operations of ADAM GH Ibrahim Mumuni (BABS) said the corrupt acts of contract for sales have become the order of the day, where most contracts from the government have been executed with shoddy works and loss of state funds to the state through improper supervision from party technical officers and engineers working on government contracts.
