Abednago Tetteh signs for second- tier FC Hoyvik
Former Bibiani Goldstars striker Abednego Tetteh has made a move to second-tier club FC Hoyvik in the Faroe Islands.
This transfer follows his departure from Bibiani Goldstars at the end of the last season in the Ghana Premier League.
Abednago Tetteh’s decision to leave the Ghanaian top flight was influenced by what he perceived as disrespect from the Ghana Football Association where he received a prize of a GHC5,000 voucher for a dental visit despite winning the Golden Boot.
Additionally, Tetteh contemplated retirement after not receiving an invitation to join the Black Stars, despite his impressive achievement as the Golden Boot winner with 18 goals.
