Kurt Okraku reelected for the second term to lead the Ghana Football Association.
Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku has been reelected as President of the Ghana Football Association in the ongoing Elective Congress at Global Dreams Hotel in Tamale.
Kurt Okraku run unopposed for the 2023 Ghana football Association Presidential Election at the Elective Congress held in Tamale.
Simeon-Okraku stood unopposed, but the one hundred and nineteen delegates present voted to retain him as head of Ghana football’s governing body.
George Afriyie who was initially set to challenge Kurt Okraku was disqualified by the Election Committee.
He polled 117 votes which is 97.5% of the total votes cast with two delegates voting against his retention as one other delegate abstained.
The elections for the Executive Council Members are still ongoing.
