General Secretary of Convention People’s Party (CPP), Nana Yaa Jantoah is telling President Nana Addo to go to the market women and let them rate his government if he does not believe in the rating agencies.
She indicated that governments are been rated on parameters and economic conditions, you don’t rate government in a vacuum, hence it will be worse if market women are to rate this government.
Speaking in an interview monitored by Onokwafo Yaw Asiedu of Ahotor FM, Madam Jantoah said, economic parameters and contingents factors available are the bases on which governments are raised. Prices of goods and services, cost of living, standard of living, accommodation, food, etc.
She urged the government and its officials not to rate the economy like how their living because maybe they’re living a good life hence finding it difficult to know what is going on in the country.
They should move behind the fence to see what is there, she added.
