Board member of Accra Hearts of Oak and Ex GFA President has warned Ghana Football Association not to play monkey tricks on the newly appointed coach, if not he will leave us in misery.
In an interview on Asempa FM, Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe explains that Chris Hughton stood tall among all the coaches who applied for the jobs. He was experienced and he will not compromise his principles.
Otto Addo was part of the technical team and never had time for the team.
“Before the appointment of a coach, names came out such as Otto Addo, George Boateng, Chris Hughton, Didi Dramani etc. I was interviewed and I said, “Chris Hughton because Otto Addo was part of their technical team and he has never had time for the team, the records are there”.
“Let me conclude by saying that if we want to play that monkey trick with this particular coach, he will just leave us in misery” – he added.
Before his appointment, Chris Hughton served as the Black Stars’ technical advisor. He is expected to come to his squad for the doubleheader against Angola in the 2023 Africa cup of Nations qualifiers next month.
Chris Hughton will be assisted by George Boateng and Didi Dramani.
