JOHN PAINTSIL BELIEVES KWESI APPIAH SHOULD BE PART OF THE BLACK STARS TECHNICAL TEAMS

Former black stars defender John Paintsil believes the inclusion of Akwasi Appiah in the black stars technical team will be a good call.

Speaking to the appointment of Chris Hudson as the new black stars head coach. John Painstil strongly believes that  Kwasi Appiah will have stirred the affairs of the black stars before games with rich experience to assist the new head coach.

” Chris Hughton is a good and experienced coach, the appointment is not new news because they were the same people who handled the black stars in the world cup. So, nothing changed as a new coach.  I knew he would be appointed. I believe he was involved in most decisions taken at the world cup.”

”The only thing they need now is to add Akwasi Appiah to assist him, what am saying is that Chris Hughton does not know the culture of Ghana football, but he is very good in
Europe and in English football”.

“Ghana football has a culture and needs someone who has experience with the national team and Kwasi Appiah has been with the national team for over 10 years and knows IN and OUT of the National
team” – he added.

John Paintsil has now retired from active football and is now a coach.
