The NDC’s 10th National Delegates Congress is an election never to be forgotten becuase of the surprises, as Asiedu Nketiah snatched the chairmanship race from the incumbent Dr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, and Fiifi Kwetey also pulled a surprise to beat Peter Boamah Otokunor and Elvis Afriyie Ankrah to the General Secretary Position.
Reacting to the congress on Ahotor 92.3 Fm, A Political Analyst Mr. David Dunu said the results from the congress shows no individual is bigger than the party which the losers should accept the results and help move the NDC forward quickly.
“The party is bigger than an individual, so no individual can say he or she is bigger than the NDC but it will depend on how the leaders will handle the losers”
“As Asiedu Nketia said the losers could be serving in other capacities, it’s a good thing which shouldn’t be just for saying sake because you can’t take somebody like Ofosu-Ampofo’s impact on the NDC out in the next 15 – 20 years” Mr. Dunu told Citizen Kofi Owusu on Adekye Mu Nsem.
The defeated national chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, has called on members of the party to join forces to soldier on in their quest to win the 2024 polls.
He admonished NDC members to as a matter of urgency recover from their individual pains and dented reputation by forging ahead for a better future.
