The founder of the United Progressive Party (UPP), Akwasi Addai Odike has stated that, the next president after president Nana Addo Danquah will suffer
He explained that, the performance of the Nana Addo-Bawumia led NPP government is very abysmal because the country is retrogressing instead of progressing
“Nana Addo has taken Ghana back 30years, anything that is in disarray keeps on being in disarray without any effort to make it better” he said
He made this known in an interview Tuesday, August 9, 2022 with Emmanuel Martey, Alaska De Don on Simpieso, a political talk show airborne on Ahotor FM
Mr Odike indicated that, the president and his cohorts lacks the knowledge, skill and common sense to govern the country and therefore, one will be deceiving himself to be thinking life will be made better under the watch of this government
He questioned how the vice president, Dr Bawumia who calls himself an economic messiah cannot do anything to salvage the ailing economy instead, blame our economic woes on Russia -Ukraine crisis and former president John Dramani Mahama
“One person who annoys me is Dr Bawumia. You are part of this government and have not done anything to salvage the ailing economy, meanwhile you want to succeed Nana Addo as president, to do what exactly for the country? Is it to continue taking Ghanaians through hardship?” he asked
