Ben Mensah has been appointed the assistant goalkeeper’s trainer at Hearts, phobianews.com understands
The 39-year-old has been with the Phobians since November 2016 having previously played for Accra Great Olympics, New Edubiase FC and King Faisal Babes.
Hearts’ goalkeeping department is stocked with the likes of Richard Attah, Richmond Ayi, Richard Baidoo and Benjamin Nana Yeboah. There are also hushed talks of Eric Ofori Antwi and Frederick Asare joining the Phobians.
The move to elevate Mensah to the technical team is a result of his loyalty and dedication to the club.
He has won one league title and an FA Cup title since joining the Phobians.
