Chelsea defender Antonio Rüdiger has completed his Real Madrid medical & will join the club until 2026. Madrid will announce the news after the Champions League final. 

Antonio Rudiger and his brother/agent Sahr Senesie receive a 35 million euros signing on fee from Real Madrid.  
Barcelona’s Ronaldo Araujo was loaded into an ambulance after a collision with Gavi. 

Xavi: “Araujo? The doctors have told us he is conscious and that he will be spending the rest of the night in the hospital, although we were scared at first.”

Starting in 2024, UEFA will give two Champions League places to the nations with the best performing clubs in Europe that season. This ditches the plan of giving two spots to the clubs with good European pedigree who failed to qualify.

UEFA has approved the new format of the Champions League starting from 2024/25.

No more group stage.

Single league phase including all participating teams.

8 matches per team
9-24th teams play two-leg ties to qualify for R16.

Manchester City have completed the transfer of Erling Haaland. The €60m Dortmund release clause has been triggered. The transfer remains subject to the club finalising terms with the player.

Borussia Dortmund announce the signing of Karim Adeyemi (20) from RB Salzburg for a reported €38m, 5-year contract until 2027. 

Kingsley Coman has been given a three game ban for hitting Konstantinos Mavropanos (Stuttgart) in the face on Sunday – his first ever dismissal.

Chelsea and Manchester United are interested in signing Christopher Nkunku this summer. 

West Ham are in the market for a striker this summer and have shown an interest in Ollie Watkins. Aston Villa would demand at least £50m to sell the 26-year old Englishman. 

Arsenal remain interested in signing Dominic Calvert-Lewin from Everton this summer, with Alexandre Lacazette expected to leave the club at the end of his contract.
