The Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Mustapha Ussif yesterday engaged various stakeholders to prepare grounds for the smooth execution of this year’s President’s Cup between Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The President’s Cup, which was last played in 2019, makes a comeback this year at 6 p.m. on Friday 4th of March at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The two clubs, so far, have shown commitment toward the cup after a 3-year break due to the covid-19 pandemic.
The Special Guest of Honor will be the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Present at the meeting were: The Deputy Minister,Chief Director of the Ministry,Chairman and Vice of GHALCA, representatives of the GFA, representatives of the NSA, representatives of the Protocol Directorate of the Presidency, GTV, Representatives of the 2 teams, among others.
