Former Asante Kotoko driver cries for help
My wife is now broke because she is the one taking care of me after the accident…I’m growing old. I’m appealing to Kotoko’s board to come to my aid, get me something to look for myself.

This week marks exactly three years when the Ghanians heard the sad news of Asante Kotoko’s bus being involved in an accident leading to the death of one person.
Cries for their compensation have fallen on deaf ears as the victims continue to ask management of the club to pay them what they are due.
One person who has since been unable to do his normal work and has lost his job is Nana Berchie who happened to be the driver of the bus at the time.
According to him, he relies solely on the petty trading of his wife and they are now broke making them struggle daily to make ends meet.
“My wife is now broke because she is the one taking care of me after the accident,” Nana Berchie told Kumasi based OTEC FM.
“I’m growing old. I’m appealing to Kotoko’s board to come to my aid, get me something to look for myself” He added
Asante Kotoko recently formed a new board and management under the chairmanship of Dr. Kyei who was at the helm of affairs at the time of the accident.
