Appearing on the weekly breakfast show on AHOTOR FM (92.3) dubbed ” The Thursday Class” National Chairman of the NDC, HON Samuel Ofosu Ampofo extolled the virtues of late President John Evans Atta Mills for allowing youthful appointees in his government when he was president till his untimely death.
Chairman Samuel Ofosu Ampofo stated that the NDC is the only party in Ghana that gives opportunities to the young and old, irrespective of their race or color.
His comments comes on the wake of the 28 years anniversary event held on Wednesday, 10/06/2020
The National Chairman, said the NDC is a party for the people and the vulnerable in society.
He noted that, the party have created several avenues for set groups, and organisations in the country, in order for them to have a say in the Governance process in the country.
Key amongst these groups are : The Persons living with disability and Albinos.
Mr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo call on all to rally behind the party since the NDC is the only party, in the country which has the nation at heart.
He argued that, the country has gained massively from diverse developmental projects across the country.
Historically, NDC is known in political circus as a revolutionary party, with mass appeal.
Dr Ampofo explained further to Citizen Kofi Owusu, that there are clear indications pointing to a resounding electoral victory this year.
Touting the achievements of the NDC, Mr. Ampofo said the numerous infrastructures scattered across the length and breadth of the country is as a result of the NDC’s successive handiwork during their stay in government.
The National Chairman opine that, the party has grown and evolve from strength to strength due to its insatiable quest to develop Ghana and also give opportunities for the ordinary Ghanaian.
He posit and pointed out that, the social Democratic tenets of the NDC is actively in motion hence is not surprising to witness the party creating room for young people to showcase their capabilities in shaping both economic and social frontiers of the country.
